Rabbi Zusha did not write any books. His reflections and commentaries, which are scattered among the works of his students, were compiled in this book. (Arranged according to the order of the weekly parasha)

Rabbi Zusha of Anapoli (1718-1800) was a student of the Maggid of Mezritch and the brother of the famous Chassidic rabbi, Rabbi Elimelech of Lizensk.
